Once you subscribe, your child will receive a beautifully curated book box every month — designed to build a love of reading and spark meaningful connection.
You’ll enter a few personalisation details at checkout, and we’ll take it from there! The first box is extra special and gift-wrapped; future boxes include a new book and our exclusive Big Heart Press newspaper.
Your first book box will be sent within 5 working days of purchase.
From then on, new boxes are dispatched at the start of each month, typically arriving within 2–4 working days.
We’re so sorry! If your monthly book hasn’t arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, please email hello@bigheartbookclub.com, and we’ll send a replacement right away.
Most of our books fit through a standard letterbox. Some hardbacks and larger picture books may not, in which case your local post office will leave in a safe place or a delivery note, based on your household preference.
Yes, we do! Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout. We are currently reviewing our U.S. shipping options and will update soon regarding availability.
Due to volume, we can’t rush individual orders but we can email you a printable gift certificate right away, perfect for tucking into a card.
Book Selection
We offer a fully curated experience. All books are hand-selected by Dr. Kim, our literature specialist and loving grandparent based on your child’s age and the personalisation details you provide at checkout (age, interests, etc.).
We also involve our trusted team of young readers to ensure every book is child-approved!
We aim to surprise and delight! However, you can opt in to receive an email with the upcoming book title, a few weeks before dispatch, and have a chance to request a swap if you already own it. To join, just email us at hello@bigheartbookclub.com.
We do our best to send unique and engaging titles, but if you happen to receive a duplicate, just let us know and we’ll gladly send you a replacement with your next delivery.

Gifting
Yes! We offer printable gift certificates sent straight to your inbox, perfect for birthdays and special occasions. You can also choose to email it directly to the recipient’s parent or guardian.
No problem! We make our selections really accessible based on their age so as long as you choose the right age category we are sure they will enjoy our selection. Once set up, you can ask the recipient’s parent or guardian to share personalisation details.
Managing Your Account
Absolutely! You just need to login to your account where your account details are securely stored and can be changed at any time.
Note: We work one month in advance, so please let us know of any changes by the 1st of the previous month to ensure they take effect in time.
