The Boy I Love

Set during the height of the First World War in 1916, the story follows nineteen-year-old Stephen, who is returning to the trenches to lead a platoon despite having already been wounded and losing his first love.

Heartbroken and questioning what he is fighting for, his world changes when he meets Private Danny McCormick, a smart, opinionated and talented young recruit.
